The Property

LJNs intellectual property protection includes 7 granted patents and 16 pending applications worldwide. The categories of proprietary art include:
  • Service provider-to-presentation device full-duplex communication
  • Variable packet length synchronization
  • Low overhead/Low delay session management and data delivery
  • Highly scalable multi-user network architecture
  • Real-time adaptive bandwidth request/assignment protocol
  • Broadband QoS configurable packet scheduler
  • Intelligent network traffic regulation

The Conclusion

With 5 billion mobile phone subscribers and 500 million fixed broadband subscribers, the market opportunity for WiBus™ is huge. Historically, the network pipe providers took on the “throw more bandwidth” approach to solving network traffic congestion problem. This mentality can no longer meet the business model as the triple play + mobile converge onto a single network.  LJN holds a unique set of IP, capable of addressing the bandwidth demand by introducing awareness into traffic management within the networks. LJN expects service provider adoption to meet or exceed other alternatives due to its ability to achieve guaranteed quality of service delivery to the end user.
